04 / YOUR PROFESSIONAL JUDGMENT COMES FIRST

Useful assistance.
You remain in charge.

MatterFactor connects AI assistance to the documents and structured records available in your matter. Inspect the cited sources and review the output before using it.

Go back to the paper.

Inspect the source references behind an answer or draft. Check the wording, context and document version yourself.

Keep the record clear.

AI answers and drafts remain separate from official matter records. Record changes follow authorized workflows and human review.

Work within access.

Matter assistance is designed to use the records the requesting user is permitted to access.

Current focus: deeper matter insights

We’re improving how AI uses matter context and relevant sources to support more useful insights. Evaluation is ongoing, and lawyer review remains essential.

BEFORE WE TALK

A few
practical questions.

A clear view of what you can explore today.

Who is MatterFactor being built for?

Advocates, litigation-focused chambers and law firms, especially teams handling commercial disputes and coordinating with a client’s in-house legal team. The pilot will help us understand which workflows are most useful in practice.

Can I try it with my team?

Request a demonstration first. We’ll walk through a fictional matter, discuss your workflow and agree the scope of any controlled pilot. Please do not send confidential case papers with your enquiry.

Does it fetch court dates automatically?

The current pilot works with hearing dates and matter information recorded in the application. Automatic court-date synchronisation and court-wide case monitoring are not available features of this pilot.

What can the AI help me prepare?

Ask questions about available matter material, explore facts and chronology, and prepare assistive drafts. Inspect the cited sources and verify facts, legal authorities and conclusions before using the output.

Can it research case law or prepare legal drafts?

MatterFactor supports assistive drafting from the available matter context. Drafts need a lawyer’s review and any necessary legal research. Comprehensive, verified case-law research is not being offered as a current capability. Legal-research integrations and improvements to answer quality are being assessed.
